Perspectives

In line with its 2021-2025 Business Plan, the DC/BR has set itself the following immediate challenges :

• launch of the DC/BR website to increase its visibility;

• launch of the “Repository” document exchange system with its members;
• launch of the platform for digitizing subscriptions to primary market public offerings;

• adherence to SWIFT standards;
• adoption of “customer-level” account registration;
• the start of discussions to set up a central clearing house (CCP);
• automation of the main DC/BR operations - Phase 2;
• implementation of technological tools for DC/BR risk management;
• the signing of partnerships with other ECOWAS central depositories.
