Regional Financial Market
The West African Monetary Union's Financial Markets Authority is responsible for :
- Organizing public savings appeals.
- Licensing and regulating central market structures and commercial participants.
- Monitoring stock market operations.
- Approving fees for commercial participants (SGI, SGP).
- Issuing professional licenses to market participants.
Its main mission is to protect investments in securities and other public savings initiatives across member states.
