Regional Financial Market

The West African Monetary Union's Financial Markets Authority is responsible for :

  • Organizing public savings appeals.
  • Licensing and regulating central market structures and commercial participants.
  • Monitoring stock market operations.
  • Approving fees for commercial participants (SGI, SGP).
  • Issuing professional licenses to market participants.

Its main mission is to protect investments in securities and other public savings initiatives across member states.
