International Women's Rights Day: The DC/BR Makes a Stop at the Treichville University Hospital in Abidjan

The Central Depository/Settlement Bank (DC/BR) of the West African Monetary Union (WAMU) marked International Women's Rights Day 2025 with a visit to the Treichville University Hospital (CHU) in the southern part of Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire’s economic capital, on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

A delegation of about twenty people, led by the Director General, Mr. Birahim DIOUF, made a donation to the oncology department of the Treichville University Hospital, the largest in the country, during a modest yet emotionally charged ceremony.

Receiving the donation “with deep gratitude and great emotion,” the Director General of the Treichville University Hospital, Dr. Guillaume KOUADIO, expressed his “sincere appreciation” to the DC/BR for “this generous act.”
