WHAT IS A SECONDARY MARKET?
The secondary market is the part of the securities market where securities that have already been issued in the primary market are traded.
The Central Depositary/Settlement Bank is responsible for the custody and circulation of dematerialized securities in the WAMU zone. It acts on behalf of both issuers and intermediaries. It acts as a settlement bank and may hold cash balances on behalf of traders.
