These include either issuers of securities, management and intermediation companies (SGI), or account-holding custodian banks approved by the AMF-UMOA.
The Central Depositary/Settlement Bank is responsible for the custody and circulation of dematerialized securities in the WAMU zone. It acts on behalf of both issuers and intermediaries. It acts as a settlement bank and may hold cash balances on behalf of traders.
